The talented artists on our team have created one-of-a-kind, incredibly detailed costumes that bring each character to life.  They all are eager to take a photo with your friends and family. Please read about each of our characters below to learn more about their backstory.

Endora

Endora was always fascinated by the world of witchcraft and magic. As a young girl, she dabbled in basic spells and potions, but she knew that she wanted to take her skills to a higher level. So, she devoted herself to the study of witchcraft, pouring over ancient texts and learning from experienced practitioners.
As her knowledge and power grew, Endora began to make a name for herself in the witching community. Eventually, she was approached by the owner of Kersey Valley Spookywoods, a Halloween-themed attraction that had been running since 1985. The owner was looking for a resident witch to add to the attraction and was impressed by Endora's skills and knowledge.
Endora made her home in the original farmhouse that started the attraction. Customers were amazed by her performances in Club Spooky, a haunted nightclub, and around the midway. Endora would cast spells and perform illusions that left visitors in awe. Her skills and knowledge of witchcraft had brought her to a higher level and she was now considered one of the best witches in the area.
As the years went by, Endora became a beloved figure at Kersey Valley Spookywoods, her performances and spells were a highlight of the attraction and visitors would come back year after year to see her. Endora's home, the original farmhouse, became a popular spot for visitors to take a tour and learn more about the history of the attraction and the witch that had made it her home.

Kersey Crow

Kersey Crow was not always the terrifying leader of the scarecrows that protect the crops at Kersey Valley Spookywoods. In fact, he was once a simple scarecrow, standing alone in a field of corn, swaying gently in the breeze. But one day, something strange happened.

As the sun began to set and the shadows grew long, Kersey felt a strange energy coursing through him. It was as if a new life had been breathed into his straw-stuffed body, and he could feel his arms and legs coming to life. Before he knew it, he was running and jumping through the fields, scaring away the crows that had once tormented him.

Over time, Kersey discovered that he had been imbued with powerful magic, one that allowed him to animate the other scarecrows in the fields and control them as if they were his own limbs. With his long legs and keen eyesight, he became the leader of the scarecrow army, protecting the crops from any who dared to trespass.

But while Kersey may be fearsome and intimidating, he is not without compassion. He knows the value of hard work and dedication, and he respects those who are willing to put in the effort to achieve their goals. And although he may seem like a creature of darkness, lurking in the shadows and waiting to strike, he is ultimately a protector and a defender, willing to do whatever it takes to keep his home and his people safe from harm.

Nurse Dryhieve

Nurse Dryhieve was once a highly regarded nurse, celebrated for her professionalism and dedication to her patients. However, after years in the healthcare industry, she became disillusioned with the system and began to see patients as mere objects.

When the apocalypse struck and chaos engulfed the world, Nurse Dryhieve seized the chance to indulge her darkest impulses. She took refuge at Kersey Valley Spookywoods, where she used her medical training to create a twisted "hospital." Here, she and her partner, Dr. Gout, delighted in tormenting guests who unknowingly became their patients.

Nurse Dryhieve, always accompanied by a disturbing baby doll she treats as a real child, lurks in the waiting area, watching as unsuspecting guests fill out their intake forms. Once under her care, they are subjected to horrific medical procedures, from unnecessary surgeries to cruel experiments. Meanwhile, Dr. Gout, who has a penchant for getting high on his own supply, pushes the limits of his mind and isn't above injecting others or himself with various substances, even in the midway.

To Nurse Dryhieve and Dr. Gout, it is all a twisted game. Nurse Dryhieve revels in the power she holds over her patients, enjoying their fear and pain as she works on them, while Dr. Gout seeks thrills through chemical experimentation. Even when their victims beg for mercy, they only laugh and continue their sadistic work.

Despite their twisted nature, both Nurse Dryhieve and Dr. Gout are exceptionally skilled. They know precisely how to push their patients to the brink of madness without causing lasting harm. When guests leave their "hospital," they are forever haunted by the memory of the sadistic nurse and the deranged doctor who tormented them.

Dr. Gout

Dr. Gout is a survivor of the Apocalypse. Before the world ended, he was a renowned doctor and researcher with extensive experience in various medical fields.

When the Apocalypse struck, Dr. Gout used his expertise to help others survive. He quickly established a medical facility in a fortified location within Kersey Valley Spookywoods, using his vast knowledge to treat injuries and illnesses that would otherwise be fatal. Over time, his facility became a haven for survivors, providing essential care and resources.

Located deep within the Spookywoods, Dr. Gout's medical facility is housed in a heavily fortified bunker, well-equipped to handle any threats. The facility boasts state-of-the-art medical equipment and supplies, and a team of highly trained medical professionals works under Gout's guidance. He works closely with Nurse Dryhieve, who shares his dark sense of purpose.

Despite the dangers of the Spookywoods, Dr. Gout and his team have provided medical care and resources to countless survivors. Their efforts have saved many lives, and their reputation as skilled and compassionate healers has spread widely. However, Dr. Gout's commitment to his work has taken a toll on him. He has become somewhat reclusive, spending most of his time in his medical facility and rarely venturing outside. He can be aloof and distant, preferring to focus on his work rather than socializing or forming close relationships.

Dr. Gout tends to get high on his own supply, pushing the limits of his mind. He’s not above injecting others or himself with substances, even in the middle of the Spookywoods. Despite these flaws, Dr. Gout remains one of the most important and respected figures among the survivors in the Spookywoods. His medical expertise is crucial to their survival, and his commitment to helping others has earned him a place of honor in their community.

GUNSMOKE

**Gun Smoke** is a legendary bounty hunter with a reputation as fierce as his name suggests. Clad in a dust-covered duster coat and a wide-brimmed hat, he embodies the rugged spirit of the Old West, though his quarry isn't limited to the living. With a gravelly voice and a perpetual scowl, he's a man of few words but plenty of action.

Gun Smoke's arsenal is the stuff of legends; he's known to carry more firearms than most gun stores. His belt is always heavy with ammunition, and he's never seen without his trusty revolvers and a rifle slung across his back. His intimidating presence and expert marksmanship make him a force to be reckoned with.

Together with his partner, Dynamite, Gun Smoke specializes in capturing the dead, who are far more challenging and feisty than the living. This unique pursuit has earned them a notorious reputation in the underworld, where the duo is as feared as they are respected. Their favorite hunting grounds? The midway at Kersey Valley Spookywoods, where Gun Smoke prowls, eyes sharp and guns ready, searching for his next spectral target.

Despite his grim exterior, Gun Smoke has a dry sense of humor and a deep, unspoken loyalty to those few he considers friends. He lives by a code of honor, never backing down from a hunt and always ensuring his targets, whether living or dead, are brought in. For those brave enough to cross his path, Gun Smoke is both a warning and a promise: justice, like his aim, is swift and unerring.

DYNAMITE

**Dynamite** is a bounty hunter whose name says it all. With a wild streak and a penchant for pyrotechnics, she thrives on the thrill of the explosion and the adrenaline of the hunt. Her signature look includes a leather jacket adorned with pockets and pouches filled with various explosives, and her eyes sparkle with a mischievous glint that hints at her love for chaos.

Dynamite's expertise in explosives makes her a formidable partner to Gun Smoke. While Gun Smoke handles the more traditional aspects of bounty hunting, Dynamite brings the bang to their operations. Her skills are invaluable for more than just breaking through barriers; they often come in handy when they need to cover up a dirty job or make a dramatic exit.

Her reputation precedes her—whether it's setting off controlled detonations to distract a target or creating explosive diversions, Dynamite is known for her precision and flair. Despite her pyromaniac tendencies, she possesses an uncanny knack for keeping her explosions contained and her missions successful.

In the heat of a hunt, Dynamite and Gun Smoke form a seamless team. While Gun Smoke's aim is steady and unerring, Dynamite's fiery tactics and explosive solutions ensure that their targets are either caught or their tracks are thoroughly covered. Her zest for action and her knack for turning a dangerous situation into a spectacular show make her an essential part of the duo’s dynamic.

Outside of her explosive expertise, Dynamite has a surprisingly warm heart for those she considers friends. She's fiercely loyal to Gun Smoke and possesses a dry wit that can lighten even the tensest moments. When you see a flash and hear a roar, you know Dynamite is close by, turning up the heat in the hunt for their next target.

SPIT

***Spit** was once the infamous Allister Crowley, a notorious bank robber whose name was whispered with fear and admiration in equal measure. With a reputation as slick as his schemes, Crowley’s criminal career was marked by daring heists and a bounty that attracted the attention of the most relentless bounty hunters of his time.

However, fate took a dark turn during the zombie outbreak of 1883. Amidst the chaos and carnage, Crowley was bitten by one of the undead. The infection transformed him into a zombie, and the once-feared outlaw became a different kind of prey.

Now, Spit is Crowley's current incarnation—a grotesque shadow of his former self, still holding onto the cunning and guile from his human days but driven by the primal instincts of a zombie. His formidable reputation as a bank robber now lingers in his shambling gait and the hunger that drives him.

Spit is currently in the custody of the renowned bounty hunters Dynamite and Gun Smoke. Despite his transformation, he remains a coveted target due to his notorious past and the substantial price still on his head. The bounty hunters, skilled and fearless, have their work cut out for them, managing Spit’s dangerous combination of undead tenacity and criminal shrewdness.

PYROS MANGUS

**Pyros Magus** is a formidable fire-bending warlock whose presence ignites the air around him. Draped in robes that shift through a spectrum of fiery hues—reds, oranges, and yellows—Pyros embodies the essence of flames with every step he takes. His attire is not just a fashion statement but a manifestation of his deep connection to the elemental forces of fire.

ELDRA THORNROOT

**Eldra Thornroot** is a formidable and enigmatic witch who dwells in the shadowy depths of Kersey Valley's wooded areas. With centuries of life behind her, Eldra embodies nature's ancient wisdom and raw power. Her presence is as intimidating as it is mesmerizing, her long hair cascading over a cloak adorned with intricate patterns of leaves and vines.

Eldra’s magical expertise lies in the realm of herbs and plants. Her knowledge of flora is unrivaled, and her enchantments can bring both miraculous cures and ominous curses. The forest is her domain, where she tends to a labyrinthine garden of rare and potent plants. In her grim domain, surrendering all one’s possessions is often seen as the only way to survive—those who understand the peril of defiance know better than to cross her.

Astrid's throne is built on the fear she instills, and her methods of punishment are as brutal as they are inventive. Rebellious souls who dare to defy her are met with a horrific end. Some face a swift and fiery death; their screams are a macabre symphony to her unyielding authority. His most striking feature is his massive fangs, which jut menacingly from his gaping maw. These sharp and deadly fangs are used not just for hunting but also as a symbol of his dominance in the harsh, frigid environment he calls home. Frostfang’s fur, thick and white as freshly fallen snow, provides him with camouflage in the snowy landscape, allowing him to blend seamlessly with his surroundings until it is too late for his unsuspecting victims.

Frostfang’s reign of terror extends to anyone who dares to venture into his domain. Campers, mountain climbers, and entire villages have all felt the brunt of his wrath. His roar echoes through the mountains, a chilling reminder of his presence, and his attacks are swift and brutal, leaving devastation in his wake.

Despite his fearsome reputation, Frostfang is a creature of instinct and survival. While seemingly ruthless, his actions are driven by the need to protect his territory and ensure his continued dominance in the unforgiving environment. As much a part of the mountains as the snow and ice, Frostfang is a legendary figure whose name alone can send shivers down the spine of anyone daring enough to enter his realm.

LYDIA

**Lydia**, the haunting specter of Jamestown, North Carolina, is a figure shrouded in mystery and tragedy. Her story is woven into the fabric of local folklore and is emblematic of the "Vanishing Hitchhiker" legend that has captivated many for decades.

According to legend, Lydia is the ghost of a young woman who tragically died in a car accident many years ago. Her spirit is said to haunt the underpasses of two bridges in Jamestown: one is a current railroad bridge over E. Main Street and the other is an abandoned bridge nearby, which may be the site of her fatal accident. The abandoned underpass is rumored to be where the accident occurred, leading to her untimely death.

**Lydia** is a ghostly figure whose legend haunts the underpasses of two bridges in Jamestown, North Carolina. Frequently sighted on rainy and foggy nights, Lydia is described as a young woman in a white formal dress, a ghostly remnant of the tragic night she perished. She is often seen wandering alone or standing beside the road, desperately searching for help to return home. Witnesses report eerie encounters where she attempts to flag down passing motorists, only to mysteriously vanish when they stop or look away.

The earliest recorded sighting of Lydia dates back to around 1924. North Carolina folklorist Nancy Roberts included an account of a woman in white near the bridge in her 1959 book *An Illustrated Guide to Ghosts & Mysterious Occurrences in the Old North State*. Burke Hardison, a student at NC State University, recounted his chilling encounter with Lydia on a rainy, foggy night. He described how a girl in a white gown asked for a ride to High Point. When he arrived at her supposed home, she vanished, and he later learned from residents that the girl had died in a car accident the previous year, lending credence to the haunting legend.

To honor and bring the legend to life, the site of Lydia’s haunting has been recreated in Spookywoods. The old bridge, now shrouded in vines and graffiti, is a chilling reminder of Lydia's tragic tale. Visitors to the recreated site often report eerie sensations and sightings of the girl in white, preserving the story of Lydia as a haunting reminder of the mysterious and supernatural.

BLOODY MARY

**Bloody Mary** is a malevolent spirit whose presence has overtaken Kersey Valley High School, transforming it into a place of dread and supernatural terror. Known for her vengeful and chilling nature, Bloody Mary has brought an eerie and unsettling atmosphere to the school, turning ordinary hallways and classrooms into a haunted labyrinth.

Legend has it that Bloody Mary was once a young woman who met a tragic end under mysterious and violent circumstances. Her ghost is said to appear when her name is chanted in front of a mirror, a ritual that summons her vengeful spirit. Once summoned, she is known to wreak havoc and instill fear in those who dare to invoke her.

At Kersey Valley High School, Bloody Mary's influence is pervasive. She manifests in the most unexpected places—mirrors, darkened corners, and even in the reflection of windows. Students and faculty alike have reported unsettling experiences: flickering lights, sudden drops in temperature, and inexplicable shadows moving just out of sight. The school's once vibrant and bustling environment has become a realm of haunting whispers and ghostly apparitions.

Her presence is most strongly felt in the abandoned parts of the school, where rumors speak of her having claimed a dark corner as her own. These areas have become focal points for her manifestations, where the air grows thick with her malevolent energy, and the atmosphere is charged with fear.

Local legends say that Bloody Mary is searching for something or someone—perhaps a way to find peace or exact revenge for her untimely demise. The spirit is known for her chilling gaze and terrifying appearance, with bloodshot eyes and a face marked by her tragic past. She often appears in a ghostly, blood-stained gown, further amplifying her frightening presence.

The tale of Bloody Mary at Kersey Valley High School has become a famous and frightening story among students and the local community. Her legend has become part of the school's lore, contributing to a chilling atmosphere long after the school day ends. Her reign over Kersey Valley High School is a haunting reminder of the thin veil between the living and the supernatural and the dark stories that can emerge from it.

AGENT ORANGE

***Agent Orange** is a formidable figure in the post-apocalyptic world of Spookywoods, a realm where survival is a constant battle against both the living and the undead. Clad in a specialized chemical suit, Agent Orange is a master of hazardous environments, equipped to handle the toxic and deadly conditions that pervade the apocalypse.

The suit Agent Orange wears is a highly advanced piece of technology designed to protect him from the harsh and contaminated atmosphere of the apocalypse. It is an imposing, full-body ensemble of reinforced material that shields him from hazardous chemicals and biological agents. The suit is equipped with an advanced filtration system that allows him to breathe safely in environments where the air is thick with pollutants and dangerous substances. Its vibrant orange color, both practical and symbolic, provides high visibility and a striking appearance against the backdrop of the ruined world.

THE GENERAL

***The General** is a commanding and enigmatic figure in the post-apocalyptic world of Spookywoods. His presence is both feared and respected, as he embodies the disciplined and strategic mind of a seasoned military leader in a world ravaged by chaos and destruction.

Once a high-ranking officer in a world before the collapse, The General now operates as the de facto leader of a makeshift army of survivors and militants. His military background has given him the skills to organize, strategize, and lead with an iron fist, ensuring that his followers remain disciplined and effective despite constant threats from both zombies and rival factions.

The General is known for his authoritative demeanor and tactical prowess. He wears a heavily modified military uniform adapted for survival in the harsh environment of the apocalypse.
